The Toronto Choristers have been singing together since 1992. We are a non-auditioned, mixed voice SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass) choir of approximately 90 members. Many members were educators or had a connection with education.
We rehearse every Thursday at 12:15 pm at Jubilee United Church. Our season runs from late September to the end of May with a month off over Christmas. We put on a concert in mid December and in May.
Our typical repertoire for our May concert ranges from old standards, folk songs and Broadway tunes to spirituals and art songs. In our December concert we sing arrangements of traditional and pop Christmas and Hanukkah songs.
